I always tell newbies to watch the first episode of 1999 because I always thought 2011 doesn't but enough weight behind Gon's connection to you know who is when the Chimera Ant arc starts.

I thought it was a little too over the top, like I was watching one of those action B movies like the expendables or something. Does it even out later or is it just pure fukkery from start to finish?

Baki is one of the most absurd shows out there right next to Jojo. They make it work, but its absolutely fukkery all the time - every time.

in the OG series dude's dad punches an earthquake away

but its a dope, underrated series i'd recommend to anyone who loves some fighting

Fire Force is crack. But it did take me awhile to get into. I'm not going to say it's some out this world story telling but the animation more than makes up for it. Some of the most fluid shyt there is out there

As someone who just started FF two days ago, demon slayer is better IMO, but its a short watch so theres room for both.

None of these shows are holding a candle to shows like dr. Stone and shield hero even though those arent considered battle shounen.

Man idk bout shield hero I liked anime but got damn they left out alot of source material from the novel tho

lol Filler can be good, there this notion ALL filler is bad and not the case. The issue wasnt the actual plot but just the dialogue & how Midoyia seem like he acted the same way as he did ep1 s1 and how basic everything seemed.

I dont really want to get into a whole MHA convo as I know its discussed alot on here & in general, but just not really developed & the story just bland as well as most characters. S2 is pretty good though and Im not really big on tourney arcs

Fillers wouldn't be a problem if they were used to give some of the other characters some depth.

For example, let's use Naruto. If they would've used the fillers to show the other jinchuuriki or how they were captured, that would've been dope (even though they did it with the 6 tails).
