Season 2 is gonna be fire, 1 of Subaru’s deaths in the Light novel made me cringe and gave me chills by how savage it was, I hope they do that scene justice

it takes a few eps before you realize what it's really about....

then a few more before you realize what it's REALLY about (pain and suffering )

so about 5 total. The one airing now, it's really a Director's cut and they cram like 2 OG eps into every ep

It's good. Only warning I can give is that it kinda starts off light and fluffy, but past a point, every ep will severely fukk up your day.

Overall, I give it maybe a 8/10

It's like what would really happen if we really got transported to a magic fantasy world as a regular person. Monsters? Dragons? Evil dark cults? Nah I'm good, I'm going to stay in this town and try to open up a fruit stand or something

Like imagine the terror of being murdered and coming back to life maybe a few hours before your murder. Now you gotta try to figure out WTF happened and change it or die another horrible death to just repeat it! So much despair

I've found out I'm an anomaly. I've been watching anime for 20 years now but I still prefer dubs over subs if possible. I've got a short attention span so I usually like multitasking. Subs require all your attention. Plus some subs, I just can't get with the high pitched voices on some characters. I HATE Goku's Japanese voice. And I remember searching for Zatch Bell's sub after they stopped dubbing it, only to head to the manga after hearing Zatch's sub voice.

Usually what gets me stuck watching subs is impatience. I dont like waiting on dubs

Was meant to watch it on Wednesday but my cinema was shut down due to lighting issues and I couldn't watch it yesterday plus I have monthly pass with that cinema, so I'll have fork out money on one that's showing it

I'll watch dubs if I'm more listening than watching. Like I'll turn it on and start working on something else.

But 9 times out of 10, even the folks dubbing don't care. Listen to the voice acting in Kingdom. No way anyone working gave a shyt

Might come across a rare gem sometimes. Bloom Into You has flat out THE BEST dub voice acting I've ever heard. Like if I could ride around and listen to eps in the car like audiodrama I would've.

And yeah, there's certain shows I have and will only watch dubbed. FMA/FMA: Brotherhood, Black Lagoon, Hellsing/Ultimate
