Finished re-watching Gurren Lagan, man this show was as just as good as I remember it. Wish there could be a sequel that explore the multi-spiral race but it probably would never happen, shyt I would even settle for a prequel with the rise and fall of the sipral King. That shyt was such a good anime

One of my favorite series of all time. I legit shed a tear at one point

Random as fukk but these are two of my favorite anime themes, both by Do As Infinity, both also from the album Deep Forest.

Tooku Made (from Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust)

Fukai Mori (1st ending them of Inuyasha)

Do As Infinity is great. I go back and forth between Fukai Mori and Shinjitsu no Uta for their best Inuyasha song.

I think my favorite themes will forever be those two for the sentimental value. Then

Real Folk Blues

Duvet

Guts Theme

anything Akino Arai does for anime. Outlaw Star, Macross Plus, Aria, whatever.

Any Bebop music goes without saying.

Breh, I haven't heard Duvet in damn near 20 years!! :lawd:

Both Outlaw Star endings used to creep me the fukk out when I was younger. I took me awhile to fall in love with those songs. I started an OS marathon a few months back that I should really get back to one of these days.

Ghost in the Shell: SAC had a lot of songs I loved throughout the various OSTs, Escaflowne. I loved Bleach's original OP (Asterisk by Orange Range) so much I ordered the single from CD Japan (expensive as fukk cuz shipping was a bytch), got the CD in the mail and was PISSED to find the mix was totally different. I was listening to that bytch like :mjcry:

Oh shyt! Canta Per Me from Noir

Bleach soundtrack was loaded. One of those shows where the music sends you on instant nostalgia trips. When Bleach was airing live I remember the second OP being ICONIC.

Sometimes a OST can make me want to a watch a show by itself. Escaflowne is on my PTW list basically because of that. And that it kinda rips Inuyasha except better from what people tell me.

Been scared of importing from CDJapan for that reason. Might get something fake and not being able to return it. But I really want to own a official collection of Nujabes' work on Samurai Champloo.

Escaflowne predated the Inuyasha manga by a few months. That show is a personal classic to me and was essentially produced by the the team that would branch off from Sunrise and go on to be Bones (that and Cowboy Bebop, hence why Bones animated the theatrical versions of both). Yoko Kanno and Hajime Mizoguchi killed the score. I still need to check out Funi's dub to see how they handled it compared to the Bandai dub.

Asterisk (single version)

Asterisk (Anime edit)

I was hoping for a full legnth version of the latter :mjcry: There was another song on the single that I liked though so it wasn't a complete waste.

I never got far enough in Bleach to hear the second OP.

CDJapan/Neowing doesn't deal in bootlegs though so you wouldn't have to worry about fakes. Shipping is a bytch though. You should be straight getting that Champloo collection.

And speaking of Inuyasha, here's my favorite theme from that show:

Nanase Aikawa - Owarinai Yume
