I’m watching Arifureta:From commonplace to the world’s strongest
The first episode was alright and I like mmo-like anime’s so let’s see how this goes
One Piece is probably not a good anime to watch last I remember. It was like a piece of fried chicken where 70% of it is breading. They'd have like 2+ minute openings long recaps and repeat scenes from the last episode and stall out for time. The padding was so severe it compromised the anime's quality.Hulu trying to put One Piece in my suggestion section. Almost uninstalled the whole app.
I watched that till the bunny girl showed up and dropped it. Now that it's getting another season I might watch it again. I quickly figured out they weren't gonna get to the part where he reunites with everyone which was all I really wanted to see. I hope that either happened at the end of the first season or the second season gets to it.I’m watching Arifureta:From commonplace to the world’s strongest

Bruh. UBW>>>>>>Zero. Tell me Shirou isn't a more respectable main character than his dad.@Daredevil is my breh but I had to catch myself from negging him off GP.
And the slander of the characters?
I see you used a gif from the better of the two series.
Bruh. UBW>>>>>>Zero. Tell me Shirou isn't a more respectable main character than his dad.
But was it fair for Kitrutsugu to saddle his son with the burden of his failures? Shirou loved that man and took up his cause to honor his father. Then he refused to properly train him. Kitrutsugu is guilty for that if nothing else.More respectable? Yeah, to a fault which is what drives him into madness. His Father was molded by his environment, you saw what he went through and having to kill his own mentor. He went through that so Shirou wouldn't have to. It's not a fair comparison, at all in context.
As to which is better? Honestly they balance each other out for me, each has elements that the other lacks. For instance, I like the Heroic Spirits in Zero more than UBW but I prefer the Summoners in UBW over Zero.

The servants in Zero were better characterized. I only liked Saber when she debated with Rider. Rider was the best one to me. Gil was too much of a mustache twirler.
Why are Shirou's parents dead again? He didn't saddle him with anything, Shirou chose to take up his dream because he couldn't. His Father didn't want him involved in the fukkery, blood, & politics of Mage life, which is why he didn't train him beyond reinforcement and projection. The fact of the matter is that Shirou had an idyllic upbringing due to the blood on his Father's hands, which helped mold his entire worldview.
I mean damn, let's not put him on Goku status, he was a better Dad than that.
Why are Shirou's parents dead again?
