Premise reminded me of Beatless, the ending like Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. Both I have rated higher than average in my notes. It probably would have hit me harder if I had binged it like I started, and not left a couple of days since the last time I watched. One of the early episodes got me a little bit

Wonderful to observe the contrasting perspectives in the upbringing of Yoriichi and his brother Kokushibo, the upper moon one. Kokushibo felt superior and then inferior to Yoriichi, motivating him to become a demon, only to feel inferior again during his brothers death, knowing if his brother had one more breath of life, he would’ve been died despite the otherworldly power he acquired. Yoriichi however remember the sacrifices his brother made for him, watching over him despite the beatings he would receive for it. Unlike some of the other demon stories, the upper moon one doesn’t even receive peace, unable to remember anything but hatred for his brother not even his family members

And to think, had Muzan not have been able to draw on this weakness of his, Muzan would have likely been dead long ago.

It's my second watch through. Im really watching it this time and it's really intricate. It kinda takes the hero of justice thing and says well why do you want to be that? Is it your dream or someone else's.
