For a faithful adaption the new Blade of the Immortal anime series sure is skipping some s*** that said I like the direction of it. The manji execution panels adapted well, the whole style of the anime is like Death Frenzy.​

THAT'S what the art style reminds me of! I couldn't place it! That whole sorta flat angular face and pasty skin, them skipping whole frames sometimes and folks being still when they don't have to. Like a mix of Ninja Scroll and Lain

So what’s you watching currently that I can shyt on?

Tanjiro is my favorite Shonen protagonist currently. I love his personality how kind hearted he is to everyone around him and even is compassionate towards the demons but won’t hesitate to take them out.

Even though this follows the standard Shonen tropes. I feel like it does them really well unlike most Shonen.

That’s what I feel people are missing about this series. It’s a breath of fresh air to have a protagonist that is compassionate, but understands and respects the duty he has undertaken.
There’s no heavy handed “What is morally right?” or “Talk no Jutsu” moments.
Tanjiro understands that demons aren’t born they’re created, once having dreams, hopes, loved ones and humanity but they still pose a threat to innocent people and they must be slayed.

Animation, characters, and the story dope

Episode 19 was mad hype

Haven’t been this invested in an anime since Jojo finished. Can’t wait for the next season might have to start reading the manga.

And I wholeheartedly agree with u on tanjiro brehs he has the right balance for a character

My only qualm with Demon Slayer is they drug out some parts a little too much. The season should have really ended after the train part that the movie is covering.
