Haven't watched it yet but I'm thinking I'm gunna dive into it this weekend.

Just needed to hear someone say it's worth it

Yes it’s intriguing enough and it’s one of them shows where there is a lot of mystery and a lot of the evil moving parts haven’t revealed themselves, which leads to surprises and I like that.

It’s a different vibe and flow from the animes or stories in general where from jump they put in your face “this is the protagonist, this is the antagonist, now watch their journey to their collision course”

After years of having watched only the anime of Rurouni Kenshin, I've completed all 28 vols. of its manga. Now I wished it hadn't ended :CryingMJ:
That being said, I'm glad about the way it concluded (as far as I'm concerned, reflections doesn't exist).
It would be dope if Watsuki actually went ahead with this idea of his but focused more on Yahiko.

started watching tenjou tenge off the strength of this gif

thought it would be entertaining in a way that the original baki was. but then a girl got raped by a villian off screen and soon afterwards that same girl raped another girl for fanservice. just about the trashiest shounen i've ever seen

yeah, it's not good. feels like I tried to watch it forever ago.


edit: that opening song and video straight earworm status though.

Given turned out to be a contender for best drama of the year. Only problem I had with it is the lack of great music, but that was apparently intentional to make the breakout performance more gratifying and it worked. Imo it's on par with Kids on the Slope, probably better than Carole & Tuesday. Though it takes an open mind to see the value in it.

Savage Maidens was bad enough to make me question every other anime written by Okada. It's not similar to Kuzu no Honkai contrary to what MAL recommendations are saying.

Savage Maidens started out good enough but when they introduced a random love triangle that was poorly developed I kinda soured on it. Domestic na Kanojo is pretty similar to Kuzu no Honkai.
