Ergo proxy is the best example of journey, not the destination i can think of

I LOVE that show yet at the same time IDGAF about the main sequence of events thats turns the wheel of the plot after a certain point.

The ending is my least favorite part. Halfway through once the ball is rolling and the show hits its stride, there's a ton of episodes that if you think about it, accomplish nothing in the grand scheme of the plot but are some of my favorite anime episodes ever
