While part 5 Jojo has been enjoyable, I can definitely say it's still the most convoluted part in the series as far as explanations/rationalization of the f***ery :mjlol: The Boss's epitaph & stand is still functionally hard for me to grasp during battles scenes. Same thing with Giorno's requiem.
breh i don't even know where to start with most scenes

as i understand it, "if you think you won you actually lost :umad:" is what requiem does

I feel like their stands are explained way better in the anime because at least you have a visual showing you what’s going on

I remember when king crimson first pulled up on Bruno in the manga when he used his stand shyt was just happening. I didn’t know wtf was going that whole chapter.

Araki even had a diagram at the end of the chapter explaining what the nikka just did and I was still confused. A lot of these stands powers in part 5 don’t make any sense and it’s even worse in part 6

The Midwest
on the topic of racism or absence of color in media, Watanabe seems to be the only director trying to embrace diversity in anime

there's really no parallel to Bebop, Champloo, Space Dandy and now C&T because of that.
Mitchiko & hatchin, Yuri on ice. I ain't asking for diversity in anime tho. That's a American problem

its a great show but the way ya'll nikkas hyped it up in this thread made it seem like it was goat.

Im gonna start season 2 tommorow.

damn actually this is my first time binge watching an entire season.
:lupe:

I personally prefer One Punch Man over Mob.

I think the power of King Crimson is explained fine in the anime, but Silver Chariot Requiem was some of the most unnecessarily convoluted shyt I have ever seen, and Gold Experience Requiem basically doubles that. From what was explained this episode it seems it can reset/rewind literally any action performed, which would make it completely invincible.

shyt like that makes me question if Araki even thinks about what he's getting before writing these stories. He keeps creating villains with overpowered time manipulation Stands (even Kira got an ass-pull power-up so he could manipulate time to a degree), then is forced to give the hero a power-up because he made the villain too overpowered. :deadrose:
