Last night I watched this anthology collection film called Robot Carnival... damn what a unique experience. This shyt came out in the 80s and yet the animation is spectacular. It consists of nine short films made by well-known anime directors.....even though each story is disconnected from the other, it all shares one main theme, robots.
I was so fukked up on drugs when I watched this that I only remember that I watched it.

it's some rough shyt. Cause we sorta got used to characters acting like certain tropes, no matter how young they are.
Promised Neverland, you can tell they're still kids. And even when the protagonists act more.... adult with their scheming and plotting...
they're STILL surrounded by children who act like children.
