whats bad about it (not a spoiler, it's not said or pointed out) is Yujiro wasn't even there for the convict.

He's trolling Izou (the fat dude with the white hair), because even though Izou is NOWHERE NEAR Yojiro's level and never will be, Izou feels like it's his life's goal to beat Yujiro.

Yujiro just showed up to show Izou just how powerless and insignificant he still was compared to him.

Goblin Slayer is like a mature version of what I thought My Hero Academia was going to be. A dude with no special skills or powers but instead uses his knowledge to beat the bad guys like an Anime Batman. Instead, dude got the all might power and I was like f this.
