Although it took me three tries to get into it, I'm hooked now, One Piece is FIRE

Awhile back I got up to the Arlong Park arc, it was cool, but it didn't really grab me like that. Just my personal opinion, but as someone who originally HATED the show, it doesn't really start to shine until the Alabasta Kingdom arc

Once that arc hits it's like the show hits the ground running

Just finished the Impel Down/Marineford arcs, might be my favorite storylines so far

One Piece is honestly my favorite anime at the moment, and thought I would NEVER say that.

i love one piece but i can honestly say impel down is the peak arc. Mostly because u get to see so many heavy hitters at one time and it shows u how inferior the crew is. After that the crew grows and mostly fight folks they can get to the level of. In that arc u had straight up GOONS coming out of the woodwork and it was plus the emotional ending of that arc has yet to be touched ....still a good show but impel down was something else

Hunter x Hunter

I think Gon's dad is the WOAT father in anime history. I never seen someone dodge his parental responsibilities as much as this man has. Gon is out here risking his life for someone who straight up doesn't want to meet him.

Imagine you knock a girl up, run away with the baby, then drop off the baby at your cousins house that you haven't seen since you were a child.

Then you run away and make some video game and claim that it was all for your son to play some day. When your son actually beats the game the reward which he thinks will allow him to finally see his father who was missing for 12 years instead takes him to your friend who doesn't even know where you are.

Then after your son helps save the world and recovers from near death illness,(which you never even visited while he was on his deathbed) rather than just being a nice guy you tell him see that huge tower that you could very easily die climbing, if you climb that then I'll let you talk to me.

What an arrogant piece of shyt. We've got fathers in this world we go around calling deadbeats because they don't pay child support and sometimes miss a weekend with their kids. Meanwhile this guy disappears for 12 years because being a Hunter is dope AF. It's not like he's out there being a Hunter making loads of cash so that Gon could have a better life. Nah, he just thinks it's really fun and doesn't want to give that up.

I just finished the Greed Island Arc on HxH and I'm about 3 episodes into the Chimera Arc. This shyt is like crack.

About to catch the latest Boruto ep. The manga is just so much better right now, its almost not worth watching.

Also, you Gundam fans should definitely check out Unicorn if you haven't already. It started off slow but once it got a groove, sheesh...

I thought Yujro was bad, but at least he doesn't straight up LIE to his son the way Ging did.

Yujiro in Baki is one of the worst parents ever. But at least his assholishness has a point.
