Essential What Anime are you currently watching?
I just got into My Hero Academia. It's typical battle shonen but I'm enjoying it and I guess it's filling that Naruto void for many people.
I still have to finish Garo: Vanishing Line. Finished Mob Psycho 100 over the weekend. I might check out Angels of Death tonight.

Making a lot of headway these past weeks in catching up on Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. The Egypt arc of Stardust Crusaders has been nothing but pure fukkery, I love how the group stay getting fukked up every single day yet every time one or two of them go missing or they see some weird shyt happen they're like 'Nah, must be nothing'.

AoT never crossed my mind while watching Kanerabi. Especially with the living on the train aspect. I thought it was cool... Train to Busan kinda vibe with a bunch of other anime twists mixed inits a blatant rip off made by some of the same people from AoT's productionnot saying its a BAD ripoff, but come on

Last episode of MHA was actually flames. I respected the actual talking this time because they were saying new shyt and not just regurgitating shyt already been said or Midoryia just sitting there having inner monologues while not doing shyt.
Almost kicking old dude that was phasing in and out of the ground was pretty boss (even though it wasn't anything complicated to figure out).

Even with the zombies I was thinking more along the line of these horror novels I read back in the day. Sonja Blue books.
Zombies and ghouls were really just vampires who forgot they needed to breathe.
No oxygen, you got an immortal with brain damage, then the body rots. You still need blood, so you wind up shuffling around and trying to eat live stuff whole.
Kanerabi were really just low level vampires, seemed like.
Anyway, up until ep 9, the only similarities to be seen were steam power being the height of tech and humanity being on the run. Didn't see any similarities at all.
I'm finished now, and the only really similar thing was the use of gun syringes and a giant smashing the wall.
Still a good show, and I want a season 2, with more monsters.
