Just finished Code Geass, it's definitely going on my top 10 anime list.

I just want to start off by talking about how fire the first OP is. Those horns Every OP was a disappointment after this one.
I was definitely team Lelouch through the majority of the show, but there were plenty of times where I was at some of his choices.

Has anybody seen the Code Geass Akito spinoff? Is it worth a watch? I started watching the first ep today and I was already at the 3d animation for the mechs.

I'm trying to figure out what show I should start next. My queue is:
Gangsta
Legend of the Galactic Heroes
Steins;Gate
Saga of Tanya the Evil
Yuri!!! on ICE
The Vision of EscaFlowne

I was waiting for them to get back to the guys that tried to kidnap Eren and Historia.

And been wanting to know whats up with the smart hairy titan.

I remember sometime last year I stumbled in the AoT thread saw a pic of the final scene of this ep from the manga and immediately clicked out of that thread to no spoil it.

I have no idea who that is but man..... I cant wait for the next few eps to really see where they are going to go with this and what exactly is that guys endgame.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes is top tier space opera piff.

This show has my favorite fight scenes of any anime. Best buildups to fights, too.

You're gonna hit some slow eps, but you're gonna see some incredible shyt.

I wanna be excited about A Certain Magical Index getting a new season next season

But A Certain Scientific Railgun was just all around better.

It's almost like Index is more slice of life and Railgun is just straight hardcore action.

I wish they'd air them side by side so you can get both sides of the story. Sheesh.

Very much recommend. Watched a few eps out of boredom, wound up marathonning it.

It actually made me start enjoying anime again. I had all but given up on anime last year. Too many ninjas, death gods, giant robots and folks dying and waking up in a magical world. I was just in this thread at that point watching other cats' reaction to watching stuff.

Index is.... okay, when there's heavy action. We just don't get enough of it. But you could aslo tell their renditions of the action scenes got better as the show went on.

I mean I do understand.

Touma has the most simple and straightforward power in fiction (he can block/cancel/destroy/disrupt any power with his right hand, for folks reading this who don't know)

But honestly with that power he's OP as fukk.

It's gotta be hard writing and pacing for somebody that overly powered.

I mean.... dude has horrible luck.

But only because Luck is seen as a blessing from God, and his hand automatically disrupts that blessing?

I love this season. From first ep to now it's been pretty much perfect to me.

It seems weird right now. The Reiss family and their motivations, I mean.

Rod seemed like a piece of shyt, and he clearly only cared about passing on the family bloodline/titans.

Historia is okay

Uri seemed.... sad. Like he was carrying too much weight. And he didn't want any parts of his family's legacy.

Freida certainly didn't seem like she had an ill bone in her body.



So what's the deal? It feels like the whole world of this story is about to open up......

That’s what I think too.

It feels like this season they went away from the cliffhanger of last season just to kinda give us this other story to maybe reveal some shyt and answer questions or provide context. And now that they tied that up nicely it feels like they about to take us on a roller coaster ride that’s gonnna be lit.

I been wondering what the deal is with that smart Titan for the longest and I also want to know “what the fukk is in Erens basement that’s so important that he needs to get too?”

I love how they bringing us back around and I’m ready to see the fallout of what’s to come
