Side note..... just finished watching the live action Bleach on Netflix.
It surprisingly wasn’t terrible and kinda brought back that feeling.
There are still soooooo many questions with Bleach

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is the shyt man.
Perfect example of how a story like that should be told. Contained story didn't drag out too long. Non stop action likeable characters and the villians actually put the fear of of god into you.

as much as I like the show, they've been doing a LOT of weird shyt that makes no sense to me

That's why I read ahead. I felt like I was missing something. Like deadass I dont remember when they transitioned historia into such an important character. Bad thing is with me, once I've read ahead it's hard for me to watch the show. I used to watch Food Wars ever week. Read the manga and now I've probably watched a single episode this year
Same. I got impatient with naruto read the manga then couldn't watch a single episode. And it sucks because fights in manga are usually
. If the art work isn't top notch you can barely tell what's going on especially if everything's black and white.
They somehow turned Kenny into a jobber too
Historia was.... I don't get it. They gave her a TON of time in the show while cutting all sorts of other shyt out or crunching the hell out of it. Then they somehow find time to make up nonsense like Erwin and Levi trashing the soldiers on the Northern Wall and Eren seeing those random kids in the town that remind him of the good old times.
Faceless Titan looked GOOD though. And the guts falling out over the wall was
but outstanding. Its crazy how much they fill into one episode too. They covered the plan, the prep, AND killed it in one episode.
