I was watching that shyt way back before I bought my house in 2009. Back then I was stacking cash and commuting 1hr to work from my hometown or staying at my homies spots down here in Charlotte.

And my G didn’t have cable, he just had a PS3 and Madden and that’s all he did so I watched shyt on this shytty laptop I had.

Now I know later a “remastered” version dropped so maybe after that’s “that”.

But still, that shyt is old as hell

I love HxH, just surprised cats talking more about that now and than a lot of the current shyt that’s popping

That MHA filler ep was ok. The ending with all might running off was tho and i see the ending set up the movie as well. Heard the movie is pretty good too so hopefully it leaks somewhere soon (if its not out already)

I think everyone is aware of the original animated series in 99 but it was only 62 episodes and didnt even get to the good shyt and the quality wasn't that good. Madhouse got a hold of it and remastered it back in 2011 which is the one everyone fell in love with and it was the first time the Chimera Ant Arc was ever animated. The original only got to the York Shin City//Phantom Troupe Arc
If you want to get props for getting into it back in 99 then cool but no one was talking about it like that and more so loved the manga bc Togashi was still writing chapters. The 2011 one put that shyt on another level.

Now that I really think about it..... I now remember why that shyt seems soooooo old to me.

Y’all right, the OG version ended before Gon sees his dad (or thought it was his dad). I read the manga of the Ant arc so that’s why I knew all that shyt.

To answer your question its probably because the dub is currently airing for the first time right now on toonami. They're in the chimera ant arc right now so folks that have never seen it before are probably just getting there.

Watching Steins Gate 0. Story is not as compelling as the first series, but the main characters are still as engrossing as before. Okarin is one of the most sympathetic characters in anime.
