Breh, fukk what a hater say, keep up with BLEACH, it's one of the GOAT Anime & Manga. shyt is criminally underrated/underappreciated across the board, better than Naruto and easily on par with the overhyped One Piece.

Don't let nikkas ruin it for you.:blessed:
Bleach turned into such crap that it's fans mostly abandoned it and Shonen Jump stuck it in purgatory until they ultimately canned it. It didn't start out as crap either. It simply never lived up to it's potential. That's reason the anime was canceled as well. The quality became so poor as the series went on that it just cratered.

This is a good video on Bleach's fall off

The truth is Bleach should have never gone past Aizen.

The truth? No that's your opinion, just like that video is yet another popular hot take on the situation. A show being cancelled isn't proof of a lack of quality, as we all have seen damn good shows/series cancelled prematurely.

The fact that you don't think it should have progressed beyond Aizen is still just an opinion, with no more weight than anyone else. The series has many many exceptional moments beyond that arc & I'd encourage anyone who enjoys the material to pursue it further and decide for themselves.

You're right that getting canceled isn't always a universal sign of bad quality but in this case that's exactly what happened. It wasn't just my opinion it was the collective opinion of the Shonen Jump readers. The series went from top 3 most popular in the magazine to one of the least popular in the magazine picking up the rear in the popularity polls.

The fact of the matter is Bleach hit a huge decline in popularity once it moved past Aizen. That's ultimately what did it in. The fullbringer arc in particular strangled the life out of the anime and manga. The anime didn't even survive it.

I get it you like Bleach. I used to love it but even as a fan being in denial about what happened was laughable. You don't go from the third most popular manga in the world to getting an anime and manga canceled without a decline in quality and that's the truth. If you're making them money they'll let you do your thing over at Shonen Jump.

Fullbringer Arc was some of the worst shyt I've read/watched, not even defending that abomination.:BiblicallyScust:

However, it doesn't negate the other exceptional arcs, development, & moments post-Aizen.

One Piece has had some of the most drawn out, flat out boring, nonsensical moments in Manga but somehow it gets a pass.:MJ100_:

Darling in the franxx ending :to:

Man, that show had me :ohlawd: up until episode 20. The Evangelion influence was HEAVY but I liked it, it was like a much lighter version of it with a legit love story (or at least not a fukked up one).

And then the VIRM shyt happened and the show went became :mjlol: status. The whole story felt rushed from that point on and the investment I had the in characters decreased heavily, once the ending happened I was more like :manny: than anything else.

All the nonsense in one piece is world building :lolbron:. That author could do whole ass arc on one of the characters shoes, and folks won't bat an eye

:camby:

One Piece is an all-ages shounen with the best world building in manga and setting up plot events a hundred to two hundred issues ahead of time. Incidental moments notwithstanding, nothing is fukking with OP's story telling. 900+ issues in the cut and it's still building its world, still introducing dope new characters and threats, still giving strong pay-offs to characters you'd long forgotten to care about.

Saying OP has flaws is one thing, but talking it down in favor of a utterly shyt shounen is madness. OP is the one student of DBZ's game that got everything right.

I must be the only person on the planet who thinks it wasn’t that bad an arc, I enjoyed it more than the Thousand-year Blood War TBH.
