I'm looking for something new to watch. I just finished Samurai Champloo (yeah, I'm late) and loved it. I'm almost done with Kill La Kill, so far so good, and I'm looking to leap into something else as soon as I finish. What are these gifs from? Seems like these are getting a lot of love in this thread.
One is from Berserk, the rest are from My Hero Academia

Seven Deadly Sins is a weird show man :skip:

Them Sins dude start out O.P. as fukk, then they introduce some threats that make you like damn they might give them dudes trouble only for it to turn out that them dudes were actually even more ridiculously O.P.:pachaha:

Don't even know why there are 7 of them nikkas, Merlin alone could take out the Demon squad by herself :skip:
This show powerscale is all over the place :pachaha:

The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl has to be one of the best anime movies I've seen in a while. It's the second collaboration between Masaaki Yuasa and Tomihiko Morimo (The Tatami Galaxy) and it features the same frantic style. It follows the story of a college girl who goes out drinking after a wedding in the college neighborhood and the college senior who is trying to court her, wrapped in a story of constant fukkery. It moves at an enormous pace and before you know it you've been introduced to fifteen characters all who constantly turn out to be related to each other through plot developments as the movie plows on.

They do not. All most all anime I have come across is directed towards children and teenagers. Psycho-Pass and Ghost in the Shell: SAC comes close though.
It's animation, that comes with the territory

They'res still loads of adult shyt. Way more in tone and variety than american animation by far. Most of our adult animation is just crude comedy cartoons.

There's Berserk for story and violence, Kaiji for regular guy/thriller/gambling, Baccano for heist/gangster fix, Legend Of The Galactic Heroes for politics/scifi, Detective conan with murder mystery, Golden Boy for adult comedy, Lupin the 3rd for heist movies/shows, Cowboy Bebop or Outlaw Star for adult space oddessy etc

Your taste seems more like adult thriller type stuff and less fantasy which kind of lends itself away from animated mediums since they're strongest with fantasy. Still they're is plenty, some of the type of shows I skip (shootout shows) might be up your alley. I mean I hated psycho pass and never got into ghost in the shell except the scarlett jo movie lol

A vast amount of wack shyt gets made because it makes money or that's what the people want. Animes like monster, fantastic children, infinite ryvius, mononoke, legend of the galatic heroes aren't made as much because it doesn't generate money and also the majority of the fans aren't checking for em. 20+ animes get made each season and I can barely find a decent one.

This season I'm digging megalo box and bokunohero.
