Manga is too but it's so many chapters just better off reading where it's at currently

What are ya brehs thoughts on Monster? I'm 67 episodes in it's weird the beginning was complete fire but it's lost abit of steam, and I feel it just adds to many characters in randomly

Monster is really good it remind of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex but you real have to be too in the whole thriller mystery and Psychological Thriller. If Monster was a live action show it would fit perfectly on hbo that how good it is. it just take awhile for all the piece to come together but when they do you will be going .

I'm a huge fan. You are about 3/4 done. I cant remember that episode in particular but do you know fully where johan is from yet?
They add a bit of new concepts near the end but they should be wrapping up soon. Some of the new characters were to give different perspectives but they should have a core the show is rocking with at the end

Nina and Johan just met is the last episode I saw to not go into too much spoilers. Nah I love the mystery thriller aspect of it, I guess my only critic is it feels like they are dragging the show. It's 74 episodes but easily been 60 or even 50

I'm still into it but just for me personally that is what's changed it from a 10/10 i thought it was headed in originally to 8/10. Also I dont know how I feel about Johan being known and heralded as this greatest villian anime ever seen talks I constantly see

If you aren't feeling the second half then you aren't feeling it I doubt anyone can force you to like it

Johan is heralded as one of the goat seinin villains because of how much the older scenes intertwine into what happens. Like this for example in episode 33

If you really take in now especially with knowledge of the nameless monster, the things that happened to johan, etc. This scene literally completely shifted him as a person where he went from normal demonic to super demonic. His goals, what drives him, etc. all changed due to him breaking a level of conditioning from recounting the past which you then slowly get to know over the rest of the show. Everything leads back to him eventually. In a couple more episodes, Johan becomes more gully again and then you are lead to action then a bittersweet ending which has Johan as the final focus.

The other killers, the magnificent Steiner, etc. all add the the theme in their own way. After episode 69 (?) the themes connecting to johan should open up more but IMO they hold as much weight over the story as the mystery/thriller aspect itself does
