be honest, you had no idea who Sidney Poitier was before this thread and googled him after the fact...
Fam, we had to watch some of his movies in HS. Dude was cool and I respect him, but yall cant really say all of those movies are better films than BoyzNTheHood. Why?
If we talking about dudes who were the lead or at least the 2nd main character then I'd say...
Wesley Snipes-New Jack City, Passenger 57 and Blade. All 3 are classics in my book. Each one was also a different movie genre. Hood flick, action flick, and sci-fi comic book flick which paved the way for more comic book films
