if klay resigns that already sends gs over the 109 mil cap for next year. at that point the only options are to maneuver salary to get the full mid level at around 9 mil per year and try and entice someone with that or a potential durant sign and trade so they can get something back. the problem with maneuvering to get the full mid level to sign an outside free agent is it likely means you lose livingston, cousins, and looney. obviously most ppl expect cousins to be gone anyway, but as for the other two, are you getting someone good enough with that full mid level to make losing them worth it?
