Not everyone is robots. Half the people in the trailer ain't robots. A gang of people died in the OG movie.

And lots of people care about robots. If what you're saying is true nobody would've gave a fukk about this scene:

T2 takes place in the real world and the T800 death has consequences. He can not come back. The robots in this are tucked away safely in some little glass box and can never really be hurt or killed. Why would you get upset about one of them dying if you know it's all a virtual simulation?

Because if they're sentient beings with emotions and dreams and aspirations, why is it ok to kill them over and over? Or use them for sex?

what this series is about. The robots start to realize they're being used.

Granted, the OG movie was basically a slasher flick in the end but you can't build a series out of that.
