to the coli bros who kicked me down some links today im going to get around to repping you guys

this album is a classic. had it on my ipod shuffle so idk about track names yet but the joint with the sax sample and the busta track were

doesnt sound as clean / polished as his other 'official' releases though. like literally does not sound clean. im not saying it sounds old/warm in a good way; shyt sounds like it wasnt mastered and some of the beats sound like the engineer didnt have access to the trackouts when recording not complaining though, shyt is still a classic. but i gotta check out the official itunes release to see if we're missing anything



Joey Styles' "oh my god" would make a good producer drop. anyone else remember when Benoit broke Sabu's neck for real?

GXFR shyt is perfect for someone enough like me who is old enough to catch and appreciate all the references, but is still young at heart and doesnt wanna give up the dumb wild shyt just yet

Not really a fan of Gunn throughout the course of an entire project (I like pretty much every person affiliated with GXFR over him), but this is a really good release. Nearly every beat is dope, with enough variety to keep it from sounding mundane like some of the other GXFR releases started to sound, really good features, and perfectly used promo samples throughout (they pretty much show you how fukked up Benoit was). I truly only have 1 complaint...Busta Rhymes is totally washed. It sounded like he had thick cotton balls in his mouth and phlegm in his throat. I’ve never heard Busta sound as bad on a song as he did on Brossface Brippler. Anybody saying his verse was fire is fukking lying.
