WSG seems to really enjoy social media so he must be serious if he’s going dark on it.

I can't get into their music for some reason which is so weird cause I love boom bap and coke rap but I've checked no less than 8 or 9 projects and nothing really sticks

Maybe it's cause I'm out that life now but I still love street rap it's just this crew specifically that I'm not feeling. Something just seems a little off with them and I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

He's actually the one I like the most but his Steroids tape didn't do it for me. His guest verses and freestyles are fire and I still gotta check that tape with 38 Spesh but I'm worried he relys on the same flow too much. Hopefully he grows more with it

Got to get that Ghostface and also a Raekwon feature for this. He needs Ghostface approval.

You heard Flygod? To me that one is Fire.
yeah i was saying Conway and Benny both remind me of some D-Block/Dipset shyt from the mid 00s...but some of my boys who wasnt up on dips/dblock too offense to it but its clear as day
Interesting, Westside Gunn reminds me of a low budget Raekwon and Ghostface but it works though.

Of course he don't got the same level of imagery though.

I don't get the Griselda hate on this thread. People been complaining for nearly two decades now that hip-hop has fallen off, it ain't like the old days, blah blah. These Griselda dudes have taken what's left of original East Coast production: the sparse, off-kilter stuff that Roc Marciano really put out there, and combined with a new take on OB4CL bars, as well as a lot of thought into the whole physical package of the LP/CD/cassette. Who else is making quality, updated, traditionalist East Coast hip-hip nowadays?

I'm not hating. I said I've tried to get into them and just can't for some reason. I think that's weird considering what they make should be right up my alley so it's no hate it's more confusion like what am I missing or maybe what are they missing.
