This was extra mid.
Oyster Perpetual from years back was so much more potent than this
The debate is even funnier because they wouldn’t even be compared if one didn’t leave the label right when the other signed. Them cats sound nothing alike, and couldn’t be more different as emcees and artists, which is why I’m always in for the fukkery that surrounds the debates about them.also at y'all taggin' head shot,
the mach vs benny debates be funny as shyt
Hus so a New York rapper that was on the come up the same time as Griselda and them. He makes a lot of dope shyt. This Pete Rock joint and Sunkist are super fire.Who the fukks is hus?
The Conway interview at the beginning was interesting, about how he had a song for GOAT featuring Mach (Laundromat Rap), and Mach released it without his permission. Mach definitely is weird about leaking music without the green light. Recently Mach has recorded over Knwledge and Alchemist beats and released them without the OK from the producers.had a feeling this would happen
If I'm your man and you're playing me this in the studio, mere hours after the Gunn/Mach track was released, I'm hitting you with a simple question. "How long did it take Nas to drop Ether." Simple question. The answer is it took months, but nobody remembers that shyt because he nailed it. I'm not saying you gotta take months to respond to Gunn...but you DON'T have to respond within 8 hours. I said this about Meek and any other memorable rap battle thread on the Coli. Your response is gonna last forever. No one is going to remember how long it took, they're just gonna remember the result.
This isn't terrible but...this could have been potent as hell if he took his time, got an original beat, and was serious. Some of this feels like bars he had sitting around, waiting to spring on Gunn/Mach...
