this one of the hardest albums i heard of the decade

they came through with the last minute buzzer call on one of the best albums of the decade.

shyt is cool at best. One play through and I like the singles........The Novel Singing and half Wesside Gunns verses, The Em feature, chick spoken word....Naw listen to more albums dude. This not even the hardest shyt that dropped this year. Conway last tape>>>>>>>>>>

This album would be so tough if WSG didn’t ruin every track by being on it..

Oh....well in that case....

I can't even argue with you :yeshrug:

I like this project for the most part but nothing is new here other than the beats. I appreciate Gunn actually rapping and Benny using a different flow but you've heard it all before. I'm scared for Conway's album because I think he's given us all he has to offer. The Cow verse is looking more and more like lightning in a bottle.

IMO dust rap is kind of like a magic trick. You can fool me once, twice, three times etc with something simple yet entertaining. But at some point I'm gonna want something bigger or some variation. You gotta have some type of X factor or appeal beyond the same loops and flows. Roc Marci mastered this...his humor and random references keep it fresh (similar to DOOM, in my opinion). He also switches his sounds up. Marcberg doesn't sound anything like Reloaded. I'm not a fan of the Rosebud albums due to the mix/mastering but there are a lot of samples on there that just go "left" in a GOOD interesting way. His last album was dope as fukk and also had variation in terms of samples, sounds, topics, etc. Same with Ka...breh got samurai albums, epic voyage/Greek mythology shyt, chess, etc.

But when I go into Griselda I know Conway gonna be rapping about beating nikkas up, Benny gonna be rapping about a package he received from a plug, and Gunn just gonna be laughing and ad libbing while recalling drive by murders. Daringer drums gonna have a similar slow pattern most of the time. Sometimes they knock it out the park despite that still (Tana Talk 4, Plugs I Met) but sometimes you get a project like this where I'm like eh...whatever.
:yeshrug:

These dudes got some crazy stories and trauma. I wish they had an exec producer who could push them and say ok the super nikka shyt is cool but how do you FEEL. Maybe you right and the Cow verse is an outlier...

That Eminem verse is one of the most out of place things I’ve ever heard on an album.

It’s like if Thriller ended in a yodeling solo or something.

At least it’s at the end so I can just turn it off early.

Facts. That shyt was horrendous. Easy to see why they put it at the end. That was so bad . I'm actually sad that piece of music was ever created . It brought down the value of man kind. Beat switched to some pop sounding bullshyt, horrible corny ass fukking garbage white girl in the Midwest type shyt

Album over all is dope as hell. A good major label debut, daringer showed he can still drop heat without being able to sample freely. Supposedly he kind of just sampled drums that beat butcha played was playing live

i enjoyed it. i also enjoy WSG rhyming. he is my fav out of gxfr

i thought kenedyy was joke at first. i was waiting for the rhymes

Con came thru and killed his verses
Benny man, i just ask how much more does breh have in the tank. you'd think with all he does that he'd come thru with a semi wack or okay verse but thats just not the case now
