One of two players in NBA history with 4 FMVPs didn't win enough to justify career loser Russell Westbrook adapting his stat-padding ass style of playAnd he never won enough to justify this requirement from other star players.

Did the rockets underperformed?People are still impressed by his stats? Cause every team he goes to they underperform
Lost by damn near 30 to Knicks at home.
Been to 2nd round once since the 2016 3-1 fiasco
And Westbrook has played with more stars than Lebron and has 1/10th of his finals appearances with 0 ringsNo, he didn't.
Westbrook averages more assists for his career than Bron, so why would he be off-ball knowing that he's a worse shooter than Bron? It's incredibly stupid, but Bron gets what Bron wants despite having a losing record in the finals with a stacked deck.
Westbrook is such a stats padding player, yet if he stopped playing right now he'd be at the top of hall of fame inductees as a 1st ballot member. moreso than all of his other teammates except dwade.
Something isn't adding up.
Then why did Klutch (LeBron) trade for him in the 1st place? Because clearly he wasn't considered a "loser" until AFTER it didn't workout with the Lakers. Funny how LeMedia pushed that narrative. And Westbrook has played with more stars than Lebron and has 1/10th of his finals appearances with 0 rings
You know how ridiculous it is to suggest the guy who's been to the finals for half of his career, has the most playoff wins in NBA history, and four championships to adapt his game for a loser that is on a different team every season? The funny thing is Lebron gave up the ball for Russ, Russ averaged more assists than Bron and had a usage rate comparable to his seasons in Washington and Houston. He just sucks so the team sucked.
Criticize the Lakers/Klutch for making the idiotic trade to begin with but it's revisionist history to act like anything but Russ being 40 million dollars worth of mediocrity was why the situation failed.
So what's the excuse for his time with the Rockets, Wizards, and Clippers? Then why did Klutch (LeBron) trade for him in the 1st place? Because clearly he wasn't considered a "loser" until AFTER it didn't workout with the Lakers. Funny how LeMedia pushed that narrative.
The fact is, the Laker stint didn't work because of Bron Ball and Hamas. There is no reason to have a pg who averages more assists than LeBron and force him off ball when he's a worse shooter than LeBron.
There's no need for an excuse. So what's the excuse for his time with the Rockets, Wizards, and Clippers?
Wizards have been tanking since Russ left. They got rid of him after one season like most teams seem to.There's no need for an excuse.
The Last time he was with the wizards was the last time they made the playoffs, and they've been abominable since he left.
Last time he was on the rockets was the last time they made the playoffs.
Clippers got everybody hurt, and if PG and Kawhi don't both get hurt, they stomp the Suns in the 1st round. Then they moved him to the bench. He can't be blamed for lack of team success if he's coming off the bench.
Now tell me, why would Bron want a career "loser" on his team?
It's funny because in hindsight, every team Westbrook plays on makes the playoffs, but he didn't with the so-called GOAT.
Interesting...
1) Westbrook asked out of both situations in Houston and WashingtonWizards have been tanking since Russ left. They got rid of him after one season like most teams seem to.
The Rockets haven't made the playoffs because Harden left Westbrook was AWFUL in the 2020 playoffs. The Rockets won the first round with him playing in less than half of the games and proceeded to get destroyed in the second round primarily due to his disastrous performance. Dude averaged as many turnovers as assists and averaged 19 PPG on 48 TS%. Of course, the Rockets wisely decided to trade him the very next season.
Westbrook was the worst player in the playoffs last year He played 20 MPG off the bench (moved to the bench because he's not starting caliber) and once again averaged as many turnovers as assists and a comedic 9 PPG on 34 TS% (26 FG%). And once again, the Clippers opted to replace him after only a year and a half with Kris Dunn and have been MUCH better off because of it.
Westbrook has been washed for years and is on his fifth team since 2020. Every team gets rid of him after a season or two. Why is that?
1. Just like he asked to go to the bench with the Clippers, right? That's all agent spin to save face. No top tier player is bouncing around to five different teams in five seasons. If any of them wanted him they would have tried to keep him.1) Westbrook asked out of both situations in Houston and Washington
2) Westbrook was coming off injury and wasnt healthy, it happens obviously
3) Westbrook sure as hell played great the the playoffs 2 years ago against the suns.
4) The Clippers are 11-8, how the hell are they much better off than last year without him. Hell, in the games he missed last year, the Clippers had a slump. When he came back they got out of it. What does that tell you?
Only after leaving the Lakers was Westbrook considered a loser. And everywhere else he played, they made the playoffs.
fact is, If Bron really made his teammates better, he would have figured it out and not tried to scapegoat Westbrook on the bench, considering Bron thought he was true all star before acquiring him.
People are still impressed by his stats? Cause every team he goes to they underperform
