Not exactly Underground, just that no real opportunities to get anywhere in outside the LA music scene.

Had Skeme did what he was supposed to do and open the door that's historically been closed for Inglewood...Chike would've been got on. But he decided he didn't want to do anything but stay in Atlanta, let his writing abilities go to waste and do drugs.

Post Mack 10, it's kind of crazy to say that the biggest acts out of Inglewood are Skeme,Pac Div and Chike

it's wild as hell making individual artists responsible for carrying whole areas. unless skeme came out and said that was his aim and purpose its not on him. inglewood has to put itself on but to people outside LA they DON'T CARE where you claim just make good music. it's more relevant to you than to anyone else.

Skeme was penning verses for Iggy....and had all the Atlanta connections industry and streets wise. He even got a single in rotation in LA with a Chris Brown feature....and spent too much time looking for lean and xanax.

Even if it was just an IF thing, that means that Rucci and Chike would've been in the mix years ago.


But since you mentioned it, there really is a glass ceiling of sorts for Hoovers,Gangster Crips and all of Inglewood industry wise.
