Garret was just on NFLN and they asked him why we didnt select a RB yet. He said the backs we were targeting were gone by the time we picked, and we didnt want to reach for a position of need. It makes sense and i agree to an extent, but Chaz Green couldve been had in the 5th. We could have used that pick to get Buck Allen or David Cobb.

I'm not losing sleep over Cobb because i believe all our backs are better than him. I really want to see what Mcfadden looks like behind this line, because if he can stay healthy like he did last season then he can go for over 1k.

I would've liked some RB help and maybe some safety help...but I just keep laughing that we got Randy Gregory in the 2nd Round and I feel better.

Now they need to do work with these UDFA's and get a returner.

I just saw on Twitter that the Cowboys drafted Texas TE Geoff Swaim in the 7th Round.


GREAT PICK! Dude is an elite blocking TE. He'll be the starter at FB/H-Back for years to come for the Cowboys.

Good overall draft. Only disappointing part for me was not getting a RB. A lot of us wanted a DT as well but Marinelli really doesnt care for that position and we play in the nickel 70% of our snaps. Honestly, I think Jerry and Stephen have something up their sleeves. I have a feeling the AP saga in Minnesota isnt over and they will either release him before camp or trade him for a 2nd or 3rd from next years draft.
