I have friends with the windows and Samsung variants.

I can see the potential, but the tech isn't there yet.

I have a fold 2 and it's amazing, as soon as they add a pen and thin it down just a tad it's a wrap.

I think my main issue with it is it’ll just make it bulkier when you fold it which is how i would use it 99% of the time anyway cause i only use one hand to browse my phone. I don’t want hold it like a book.

If someone can come out to make it fold into the size of a current iPhone I’ll be interested

My brother has the Surface Duo which had potential but really missed the mark. Interested in the improvements they’ll make for the Duo 2.

I'll get a foldphone eventually I think. Mostly because I don't care to upgrade my tablets, but I upgrade my phone fairly often. Having a foldphone makes me not need a tablet

Tech evolves by doing things like this. Your critisims are in line with what people said about the original Galaxy Note series. In the not too distant future foldable phones will be the norm.

Word; my homie clowned me when I scooped the OG Note; I think that screen was 5.2 or 5.7 inches. He was telling our other boys "this niigga walking around with a TV in his pocket" Fast forward a few years later, he been copping the last 3-4 iterations of the Note lol

I don't really see the utility. :yeshrug:

A foldphone prolly isn't any better for using while driving, and they only times I'd need a screen that big would be when I'm flying, in which case I'm using the Surface anyway.
