Knicks need a decent bench ASAP.
You can't go all season with starting 5 players averaging over 35 minutes. Even somebody like Lonnie Walker IV would help them out and he just signed overseas.

I think Precious' return will help. He can take some OG and Hart's minutes as the second-unit's PFs. Then, my guess is that the FO is waiting to add Matt Ryan (41% from three career, 45% from three last year) and/or Landry Shamet's shoulder to heal.
They might also be counting on the schedule lightening up from here. So, they'll have more opportunities to get Dadiet and Kolek some reps.

I think the most important development from last night's W is Brunson getting a bunch of off-ball reps. McBride or Hart would bring the ball up, and that allowed Brunson to run his man through some screens and receive the ball from a wing and/or in motion to attack the Heat defense.
It starts Brunson in a better position and doesn't give the defense time to load up on him. Having Hart bring the ball up specifically is REALLY interesting, because his defender can't just sag into the paint.
