I googled him and had the same reaction, why trade for a nickel
Maddox vs the rookie for the #2 corner spot pretty much set in stone now?
Yeah, it's more of a low-cost depth move with longterm thinking behind it since Maddox is a free agent after this season too. This won't stop them from adding an outside corner before the season starts.
