We've got the easiest strength of schedule in the league...we play last place teams

If we go 5-12 vs the easiest sched in the NFL, will it be time to draft a QB or trade for Deshaun?

this season will be a win win either which way. if hurts is as bad as you pray and hope for him to be, the easy schedule wont prevent a sub 6 win season. then we could easily draft a QB or package maybe 2 firsts for watson. if hurts exceeds expectations with this new offense, those 3 first rounders will be gold to accelerate this rebuild and replace some vets.

1) Strength of schedule based on the previous season means nothing in a league where there's more year to year turnover than any other sport, you know that

2) Evaluating a QB based on W/L is silly, let's say we crack 10 wins next season but Jalen's mediocre during that run - I'm not gonna resist trying to upgrade just because the team won with him. Just like I won't penalize him if he plays well but the record doesn't reflect it (likely because of the huge holes on defense)

It's crazy I can see it going either way. Biggest things this is dependent on is the coaching staff and if hurts takes that leap

:mjlol:

we're literally a yr or two away from contention again...I'm being realistic

Best case scenario: 9-8

Worst cast scenario: 3-14

Likely scenario: 5-12 or 6-11
