"The exchange between Roseman and Donahoe is on the heels of a 4-11-1 season that was full of internal dysfunction and included strain between Roseman and members of the scouting staff, brought on largely by the results of the 2020 draft, as Roseman went against the scouting draft board in the first two rounds and selected Jalen Reagorand Jalen Hurts over Justin Jefferson and Jeremy Chinn, sources said".

If I recall, JK Dobbins was also high on our draft board in the 2nd round last yr.

Hightower has some bad drops but JJAW does as well

The difference between them is Hightower has legit speed and JJAW is just a big body guy
Who runs terrible routes and doesn't catch the ball

I think he's cooked here but we'll see

Hopefully Sirianni and his coaching staff can develop him and get his confidence back.

If you can turn him into the redzone beast he was at Stanford I think you have more upside with JJAW than Hightower at this point given the composition of the current wide receiver group.

Fulgham and Ward are underrated here. Theyre roster locks and probable starters. Fulgham got a raw deal when Alshon came back. I'd have him above Reagor to start the season. I badly want Reagor to live up to his draft spot, but the more i go back and watch, the more he looks like a rb playing wr. Reminds me so much of Josh Huff.

We all love Ward for that game winner in Washington and how he stepped up to the plate in general the last two years, but we've seen his ceiling. He's a limited slot WR who can only line up there (with a new coach who preaches about his WRs lining up everywhere) and he's a mediocre return man with no juice.

Watkins and Hightower are gonna have to lay huge eggs to fall behind him. He's in a dog fight with JJAW & Grimes for that 6th WR spot.

Ward can't even avg dbl digit receiving yds per reception...we need a better option for WR3

We don't need a 1k yds from a WR3...I'd be good with 50-650-5

Not sure we can expect that type of production from any WR3 with such a limited passer at QB

The future of the team rests on the shoulders of last year's draft picks

Raegor, Wallace, Driscoll, Taylor

If Hurts can be even serviceable at QB, we need to transform the aforementioned names into quality starters

If we can get another 4 starters from this draft, I'll feel good about the direction of the team

Numbers don’t lie so they resort to frivolous shyt :unimpressed:

I don't get your point

You insult me and then deflect

JJAW had chances, but he couldn't get separation, dropped perfectly thrown balls, and lost confidence

I still believe that he could be a WR3..I just don't see him putting up gawdy #s with a limited QB, even if he were to play significant snaps and improved drastically

Games will be one with balance (run game, timely completions & stout def) and not WR play

I'm expecting 5-11 this season regardless

he showed flashes, but we never created enough mismatches for him

my hope is that he can be our Z receiver while Devonta holds down the X
