Every single piece of Eagles media on the internet has been flooded with "Fire Howie" messages for a calendar year, the athletic article was just the cherry on top.
He's drafting for his pride and respect right now, he knows he can't afford to miss
Which is fine tbh, it's year one of a new regime. I'm expecting that CB2 spot to get cooked just like Leodis McKelvin and Nolan Carroll did in 2016.
4 picks in the first two rounds next year + a chunk of cap space sets them up to re-make the secondary with legitimate options.

Word is Donahoe wanted someone at 70 that was picked after they traded back to 73 (either Aaron Robinson to the Giants at 71 or Alim McNiel to Detroit at 72).

we can say a solid first two days... we still got a ways for day three with eight selections on deck but honestly best first two day drafting by the eagles in a while. I havent been able to say that since Chip drafted Lane Johnson, Zach Ertz and Bennie Logan in 2013 or when he picked Agholor, Eric Rowe and Jordan Hicks in the first three rounds way back when in 2013 and 2015. Since Howie took over, every draft, there has always been this real questionable guy selected early.
