Bleeding green nation was saying that all the rumors are the DE from Michigan or Waddle. Id be a little annoyed if we drafted a 23 year old defensive end tbh. Theres like 10 guys id be cool with but im kinda hoping for Smith

I just dont see it with Kwity- maybe I am wrong but I think he will be a good DE- solid run stuffer and may get you like 6-7 sacks a year but not a game wrecking DE- I smell Barnett all over again with him. To bad that guy from Miami has concussion issues bc he is proly the best pass rusher in the draft

Yeah i guess hes supposedly a high level athlete but he looks alot more like an overaged hard worker type that you could get similar value from way later in the draft

Paye seems like an Eagles type pick...I'd prefer to go CB or WR

I just don't see the value in having 2 midget receivers...if we didn't have Raegor, sure...but Waddle too, just seems a bit much...Smith would def be a better compliment to Raegor
I like smith a little more for the Eagles too, but its probably more cause im worried about a guy with an injury history coming to philly

I do get why alot of ppl like waddle more than smith though. I feel like Smith is better at the type of things ppl can learn to get better at, whereas Waddle is elite at god given shyt that you cant really learn

We really can't go wrong tonight in my eyes :ehh: I'm open to everything on the board other than Parsons/Owusu-Koramoah, and that's just because I don't value an off-ball LB that high.

I feel like they both hold immense value in today's NFL...you need hybrid players on def

Parsons could potentially develop into an elite edge rusher, in addition to being an off ball backer that can disrupt in coverage

Owusu-Koramoah could thrive with a team that keeps OL off of him...where he can flow to the ball in a weakside LB role...the main question is whether he can hold up in the run game against physical teams...LB/S hybrids do scare me tho

I like Smith for us...Waddle may be dynamic for another team, but Smith is the better fit

Just did my mock...

I have eagles having their pick of Smith or Waddle at 12 (Parsons, Horn, Surtain all gone)..................... I got them with Waddle (Howie seems like the fancy pick guy vs production, he would have picked ruggs over jeudy or Lamb last year)...

I would want either Smith or at least hope to trade down and get whatever possible from NE so they can draft CAC Jones at 12..

One of the few good things about being a 4-11-1 team is that you can make almost any pick make sense, because the team has needs at almost every position. I'll take one of Fields (if he actually falls all the way to #12, not that I think he will), Smith, Waddle, Horn, Surtain, etc. if they're there. Or trade down and make a run at Bateman or Marshall Jr. Plenty of options.
