the game plan has to be tailored to cover for his limitations

at this stage, you either have the arm talent or you don't...among starting QBs in the league, he'd be in the bottom quarter

the only way I see him as a winning QB is with an outstanding running game & dynamic after the catch receivers

Give my man Wentz a real WR1, a coach committed to a 57-43 Pass to run ratio, a healthy o-line and let's see what we've got

Another bad yr and I'm all for moving on...this city has ruined so many good players that have thrived elsewhere across all major sports

carson wentz isn't patrick mahomes . if we're going 4-12 with hurts next year, our record wouldn't be much better at all with wentz. it's a mini rebuild no matter the QB. to be honest with that cake schedule next year, we're winning 6 games minimum. you realize wentz was under .500 every season besides 17 and 19 (thanks to 3 and 4 win teams)? since we're just randomly throwing records out there

That's not an answer. All you did was shyt on Jalen. If I consistently fukk up at my job and I've been there for 5 years, my incompetence isn't now somehow negated because some dude that just got hired 2 weeks ago is also making mistakes.

You're willing to give Wentz "another bad year", but you've seen enough from a rookie QB with 4 games under his belt.

it was very depleted but you're putting way too much stock on wentz being the player to do it all in 2019. the 3 big games we won in 2019 at the start and middle of the season (packers, bills, bears) were so much more of a team effort than it was carson carrying us to victory. he pretty much game managed those games to victory. the carry job only came during that final 5 game stretch vs horrible teams, and lets be completely clear about the defense playing their asses off during that stretch as well (minus dolphins). the amount of big games we've won with backup qbs in the past few years and you're stuck on this wentz = eagles narrative

Even given his abysmal play last year, only getting a 1st round pick for Carson would be an absolute travesty and even further evidence that Howie has no idea wtf he's doing.
