Yall not gonna like this
it was obvious to most of us that wentz was being babied and that there was zero accountability for him in general. that was something that was echoed in the threads all season long and a bit last season as well.

I fell for the hype I admit. I was praying he was Brady so the dynasty could continue after SB LII MVP Foles, when he is actually Andy Dalton. My spidey senses were tingling last year and this year it couldn’t have been more apparent.I think Jenkins got it exactly right on the issue with Wentz.
Just as we suspected. This organization and coaching staff and to be honest alot of us in the fanbase until like the middle part of this season anointed Wentz for no damn reason.
It did Wentz no favors and caused his teammates to resent him. Plus not a good look for Wentz himself to not have those competitive juices to better himself. In this league u always have to prove yourself. It never stops.
I think this quote by Ochocinco on Belichick and Brady during his time there is telling on why they were so successful and what has been wrong with Wentz.
“First day, team meeting. Everyone’s coming in and Belichick puts on – first day, no greeting – the loss to the Jets in the playoffs where they went home early,” Johnson said. “He puts it on and rips into Tom. First meeting, no practice, everybody [is there].
“He’s at Tom’s head, and I’m like, ‘Is this a joke? Are we being punked?’ He laid his you-know-what out. … That set the tone for me right there. I was walking on egg shells from that point on.”
Thats being on Tom's azz after winning three superbowls. Wentz should never ever get that treatment.
Fukk Brady, As of right now, Wentz has done way way less than even McNabb and we werent easy on him.

For some reason people act like Wentz was a god in the 2019 season. I get we went on a run at the end of the season to make the playoffs, but yall dont remember how inaccurate Wentz was especially in the beginning of the season? His short distance throws were iffy at best
And he went on a winning streak against sub 500 teams. The kid only had one impressive year cut short due to injury.
We had two great tight ends and a good RB who accounted for more than half those 4000 yards. 3 players accounted for half his yards.4000 yds
27 TDs
7 INTs
No WR with more than 500 yds
And ppl act like we weren't sh*tty at WR again this yr. Our WR production is pathetic. They only consistently get open against soft zones.
But what do I know
Y'all need to open up your eyes & realize QB wasn't the biggest problem for the team, it was a symptom of ineptitude by the coaching staff & front office

nikkas love to leave out the fumbles. His interceptions were never the problem until now. He always had a fumbling problem tho. You add his fumbles to his interceptions, and hes up there in with the most turnovers per year, every year. @B1G_controversyLook at this bullshyt
14 Fumbles in Rookie Year
9 in 2017 which is almost a fumble a game (only play what 12 or 13 games)
9 in 2018
16 in 2019
10 in 2020
He is tied 34th is career fumbles for a QB in his 5th year. Rodgers only has 41 in a decade plus career.
35-32-1 as a career starter. Let's not discuss his record against .500 teams

Yall took those ESPN stats like that was meant to make him the goat. In reality its not that impressive, especially for an offense and QB that rely on the tight ends and RB so heavily.
