I haven't been to fast food in a minute. I hate AI but I dislike some people more.
I was at the grocery store the other day, self checkout. And I had my gloves in my basket. I scan and bag all my shyt, some worker comes up and just grabs my basket with my gloves in it and starts walking off.
I'm tired of just plain stupidity, forgetfulness, accidents, mistakes, overlooking, bad judgement, miscommunication, and all that. Let me deal with the machines.

So if everyone's being replaced by AI eventually, who will these companies sell to if most people are unemployed and can't afford their products and services??

While you’re young it’s your job to acquire skills through schooling to make yourself valuable as an adult .
If you’re an adult that failed as a youth to take your job seriously and are out being replaced by innovation you have to bare that burden .
Sucks for them but it is what it is . A lesson for the children.

It's a very small percentage of people who have the personality for customer service.Automating most of it will be a better customer experience. Leave the few human openings for the people with the personality for it. No more dealing with people you can tell don't want to be there.

Some of this AI shyt is just extra/trying to cach on to all the "buzz".... this is a good example.
I've been inside some McDonalds locations and they literally have kiosks where you can place your order, no human involved until its handed over. Why does a drive thru need AI
because the AI will do what it is told and will act proactively to sell more.
upselling. variety.
it will always be polite.
will never get tired. will never get sick. does not need holidays, a pension, toilet breaks.
