Sad for her.

Weirdly enough its always been my theory that gamers won't get dementia at as high a rate as other people because they are constantly keeping their brain alert and testing its responsiveness. That might be enough on its own to prevent, but they would be well aware of any cognitive decline early on and be able to catch perhaps before its too late. I will have to wait until we are all in our 80s to see how studies compare us to prior generations

:wow: Sending this post to the misses when she trash my World of Warcraft time.

Its the final boss :francis:

I remember when my mom told me that my grandfather was so bad that he had to wear diapers and started acting like a full blown baby. My uncle at the time was his caretaker and even then it had to be a huge fight for him to give up the ghost and sell the house.

That haunting memory when my wife and I picked him up from the house and he asked the same questions over and over. It was sad man...

Dude was a entire demon, but he was the same man that introduced me to wrestling and actually help me with my tie, when I graduated from college.
It can be hereditary

I had a college professor who believes in that theory..basically he believed that any type of high level brain usage/problem solving like video games, sudoku etc; should help to curve it.. but who knows ..

Don't care for the bird, but Dementia is no joke. My grandfather had it and man it destroyed him in the midst of a year. Dude went into legit baby status and then passed away.

May he rot in h:ehh:ell
you’re saying this about your dead Grandfather?

Yeah but nikkas usually don’t comment negatively on the dead and they don’t do it online.

I guess it’s a blessing to have normal relationships with family.

Lets just say that his ills is a huge problem in the black community that is hidden from conversation. Thus why my mother had to damn near get shock therapy and sadly passed in the state she was in.

Sometimes I think that your gift can truly be your curse, depending on how you use it. While it can be hereditary, there are elements to how death can be a weird Greek comedy.

Wendy's case, she spent the whole time using her gift of conversation and networking to spread gossip, destroy lives, and break out relationships.

The same energy that's in your gift, will end up being your own tomb.

Sucks that Wendy had to find this way out, but at least she tried to change in the later years involving her talk show.

Very tough spot to be in.

Seen it with my grandmother.

Hope that she has great support system around her…she’s gonna need it.
I doubt it, it got so bad a court appointed guardian or some shyt is helping her which is not a good sign and shows the family wasn't doing what they were supposed to do.

Her son and manager appeared to be motivated by self interest such as spending up her money to the point the bank froze her account. I hope it's not what it seems and some of her family holds her down but dementia is no joke. They may literally have to wipe her ass, clean her, bath her and etc. while she forgets who they are.
