Exactly this. Said the same thing when a teammate threw him a half court pass and he finished the and one over two guys. Defensively he’ll be fine just off the presence, and a lot of guys don’t have his passing instincts as fast as he does. But offensively once he works on getting to his spots, he can pick and pop, screen roll, be just NEAR the basket, he should be fine. It’ll take time, but once he starts to get comfortable and letting the game come to him, he’ll be straight. From what I saw...it's best for him to simplify his game...pick areas of the court where he can best operate from and stick in those areas
Also become more useful as a big...screening, rolling, hanging around the basket.
He'll need to build strength too

It really is something how much the competition jumps at each level. I think some people underestimate it when they say only the best are left in the NBA and we're only in Summer League.
Edit to add more:
Remember, nearly everything these guys emulated to get into the league, well, came from the league.
Nobody knows basketball better than the people you go up against at this level and that's now the everyday competition.
Plus, they probably will feel some type of way about Wemby being possibly the league's biggest news last season.
Dude needs to absolutely make sure he's ready because there's a big target on his back.
Pop and the Spurs are going to need enforcers on the team ready to protect dude, because unlike Shaq, Yao, LeBron or Zion this guy is built like a twig and isn't intimidating anyone physically. Giannis, Mobley, KD, etc. are twigs as well but there wasn't a target on their backs the same way.
Grown men and the league's tallest/biggest players are going to go AT this kid and try to get under his skin but he's not going to be able to push them back so they'll need a Udonis Haslem type who will. It's shame he stopped Judo as a kid because that would've carried some intimidation with it and an indicator not to try him like that.
Next time yall complain about the lack of good nba analysis and only hot-take artists like Stephen A/Perk…let this thread serve as evidence as to why
I'm never going to sleep on nba players ever after I was so terribly wrong on Steph and Kawhi.....but idk about this stick figure ...he looks weird out there.
