Well....There goes the myth that most Black Men are Abandoning Their Responsibilities.

Considering the well known statistic that 70% of Black Mothers are Single Mothers and now we have these damning statistics coming direct from the census bureau (a kind individual, most likely a concerned brotha actually requested the reverse calculations necessary because this is not a default available statistic online).

Now this seems to prove the theory that the reality is Black Women choose a CERTAIN type of Man in America and tends to reject the rest.

The belief that Women in general choose the top 20% of Men overall can be hard to prove. But now there is some damning evidence to lean towards the notion that Black Women in particular tend to choose the extreme top % or bottom % of males and a whopping 42% of Black Men in the middle of this have no kids at all.

So it's not really "Where are all the good Black Men" more so then "Where are all the Young Thugs, Idris Elbas and Chris Brown's for me???"

Isn't it amazing how our community is in shambles with 70% of single mothers but only around 10% of Black Men are dead beat dads apparently?

Curious to hear explanations, excuses and theories from brehettes here. "Not All" and "Men are at fault too".
