have no reason to be in each other’s presence.


From my perspective. If you are out here casually kicking it with a white person, there is a 90% chance that they’re racist.

I came in this thread thinking that so many people were pissed at Cube because they were afraid he could help get Trump re-elected. But that doesn’t appear to be the case.

It just boggles my mind how some have so much smoke for anyone on the political left but tacitly support and actively court the favor of right wing fascists (being mad at actual leftists makes no sense anyway, all that smoke should be directed at neoliberals in the Democratic party).

Like the time a certain individual whose name I won’t mention cause she gets mad when I tag her went on a “fukk Bernie Sanders” rant. Bernie supports a lot of transformative social and economic policies that would be a great boon to Black people if they were implemented, and is about as good of a ally we’re gonna get from white America, but she said something like if Fannie Lou Hamer and Harriet Tubman came back from the grave and told her to vote for Sanders, she still wouldn’t because he’s supposed anti-Black and wouldn’t commit to fully supporting reparations.

Now this same individual called Ann Coulter an ally just because she did a soundbite about immigration hurting Black Americans. That’s all it took. And like 50 people dapped it.

Someone make that make sense.

Trump ran his campaign on building a wall and calling them "criminals crossing the borders".. When it was all said and done, the numbers posted showed 30% of mexicans voted Trump. While black men voted 18%..

We get all the heat for the 18%, but nobody is up in arms over the 30% from our "brown coalition" teammates.. And democrats run their campaign on mexican issues.. Yet they’re not held to the same standards to party loyalty as black people..

Mexicans are capitalist and conservative to the core.. Maybe, just maybe they're handling business.. Come to america on social programs by the democrats, get established in america, then return to their capitalist and conservative ways in the voting both..

People often ask some of us why we have so much smoke for the Democrats but not the GOP.

I can’t speak for everyone..This is just my personal perspective.

If Black people support the GOP for the next 50 years at a 90% clip and our conditions don’t improve, I will be on a personal jihad against anyone that’s telling us the GOP is the answer.

But I agree the anti Black immigration rhetoric is wack. The diaspora wars are trash. Which is why I can’t even listen to folks like Tariq anymore. Even for casual entertainment or laughs. I’m scared to even put in writing, what I believe his rhetoric could result in.

I just hate seeing us be so divided over politics and religion. There are legit good Black folks that have totally different values and political strategy than me. I’m trying my best not to view them as my enemy.

Democrats have never really had the numbers to enact changes on their own outside of 4 months during the Obama administration where they successfully saved the auto industry, got America out of the Bush recession, and passed Obamacare.

I agree. A lot of what you’re saying is true. Voting in itself isn’t enough to change our conditions. I would argue it’s actually a much smaller part of the solution than we’ve been led to believe.
