:mjlol: at him turning around when Wayne said 15. He was like "this motherfukker here."

Actually if you watch again Birdman prompted Wayne to say he was 15 when he told wayne "You turn 15 what, next week?"

nikka was lying so much he forgot he said wayne was 16 a few seconds earlier

nikka even came up with his own age on the spot, "See Ima young nikka, *looks down for split second* 24 years old :birdman:"

I wouldn't say that he has the best contract in the game, but maybe that's not too far fetched. The reason being because if you recall, there was a bidding war for Drake before he signed. ALL the majors were interested in signing him, and had made offers. The difference between that and the other CMR Artists (Weezy, Juve, etc.) is that they were home-grown artists signed to Cash Money BEFORE they were stars (and in Weezy's case since he was a child at 11 years old.) Those artists didn't have much leverage nor any professional help, I'm pretty sure Drake had outside representation negotiating on his behalf
That bidding war was PR nonsense. Sp far gone was getting national radio play. That does not happen unless youre being pushed by a major. Indie artists from canada arent going to suddenly get radio play.

So far gone has lil wayne features and drake shouting out young money. He was signed the whole time.

yeah at the time I was doing street promotions an Indy label as well as THIER publicist....who introduced me to some publisher who was looking for a strong writer for an industry trade magazine for hip hop Indus trying to network and create buzz

the publisher was well connected in the industry worked for a big time manager before he started his magazine

we was doing good consistent work then it went downhill when a certain Florida based artist decided to not show up for a cover story and photo shoot

the publisher wanted me to do a slanderous hack job article on him

I agreed to do it..cause he was the boss :manny:

even though the big homie who introduced me to him felt that wasn't a good idea ....cause in his own words it could dawg relationships and he was right :whew:

I found out very quickly how close knit especially the southern rap industry is....

I wound up bumping into that Florida artist during a convention at a award show

fortunately that article never made it to print ...cause we didn't secure enough Ad revenue to stay in business

but I was in demand as a writer and got hired by a blogger as his creative editor

It was HIS intention to write about street cats and the industry. ...which I did agree to do as LONG AS WE HELD THE GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABLE because on my opinion all these street situations happened cause of Political Expediency..

like the SHOWER POSSE/REAGAN ADMINISTRATION connection or FRANK MATTTHEWS and the CIA
CIA

IT WAS ALL GOOD till he started veering off into Conspiracy territory I.e (illuminati stories)

we parted ways on that...he was paranoid and I don't do sensational journalism

:camby:
how long ago was this:sas2:

I strongly disagree. I personally know execs at Warner who were trying HARD to get him signed under Warner (whether you want to believe it or not, is up to you.) Not to mention Jay Z himself was quoted in an interview saying Roc Nation put in an offer last min as well to sign him, but ultimately CMR's deal was the best and no one else would match it.

Brolic... Alcoholics
So how long before all of this shyt is fake as fukk?

But if this is real, shyt reminds me of Biggie's last interview where he was talking about venturing out and not rapping no more becuz he didn't want to be that cat that showed up to the club and the bouncer is like, "You're not on the list".

They kicked Wayne to the curb like a muhfukka.
