I remember that incident, apparently NYPD had after market triggers on their Glocks that increased the pressure needed to fire the weapon. For years safety experts said it leads to more inaccurate shots and with the sub standard basic requirements to be a NYPD cop it led to this.

There's only one article posted thus far and it's in the OP so how are folks getting so many facts wrong in here?
She's in her own backyard (not a neighbor's) holding her gun. We don't know why yet but I think the common sense option at this time is she saw or heard the people that the cops were after in her backyard. So she saw intruders and got her gun.
At this point cops probably jumped her fence into her yard looking for the same people she got her gun for and saw her. I doubt they said anything at all since we've seen how many clips of cops firing at people as they shout shyt before the person even has time to comply or even recognize this is someone even talking to you. This is pure speculation on my part but this just makes the most sense with the info we have right now. She didn't know they were cops, she just saw 3 people jump her fence and run onto her property then saw some more people do the same. They just happened to be cops the second time. That's also why she might note complied immediately because she didn't know who tf they were...but who tf knows.

come on man, we got/had r&b, hip hop, jazz, blues, etc and the 90s was the pinnacle for me.
i'm listening to all of that before i get to weezer. the closest i got was when i would watch beavis and butthead.
but i wasn't really tapped in like that to really know who the acts were.
