Week 13 CFB Overreaction Thread

I didn't love the Deboer hire by bama. Washington preyed on a weak Pac 12 (down usc, oregon still finding it's footing under lanning). There's a reason Lanning was their first choice. They'll be fine, it's only year 1. But there's just too much talent on that roster to get blown out like that, and losing to Vandy is never acceptable.

I was thinking about making a thread on this but college football is the most entertaining sporting product right now. The fukkery that nil + transfer portal + playoffs has brought. If I’m the ncaa I don’t think I’d change a single thing. We’re in thanksgiving and we’re legitimately talking about 15-20 teams of relevance. All of a sudden Arizona State and South Carolina are in the picture.

They need to keep the selection committee because the uncertainty has everyone talking. If they really want to amp up the attention and money I’d add an element of fan voting

I dont know.. Alabama roster aint that deep anymore. He lost a lot of Bama players when Saban left like Caleb. He was kinda forced to use Milroe.

He got a good class coming as of right now. But he cant take Milroe into next year as a starter. I doubt he will

its hilarious that this was fought for years, and fans were against this due to "tradition."

The only nasty work is that the entire NCAA doesn't benefit from this, but also fukk the NCAA.

Clemson low key make the playoffs if they beat SC.

If SMU beats Miami, and Clemson wins the battle of the Palmetto State, I can see it.

But if Clemson loses (word to @No Sleep ), And SMU barely beats Miami, I can see them letting Miami get in with all of the 3 loss SEC teams now.

SMU is in a good spot too as long as they don't get the doors blown off of them by Miami.

If the OC hire rumors are true at FSU, he’d kill there as long as they don’t ask him to throw the ball a lot but they also may skip on him due to taking a bunch of SEC name brand castoffs and all of them being bust.
