producing fire took this one based off overall quality and sound

yep, had that out for the night paint the town feel :ohlawd:, this was made for cruising inside of some tint.

Tommy Knocks jam is underrated though, as soon as the beat dropped it took me back to those 80's martial arts/action flicks where the main guy walks in the club/bar and starts dispersing that work on those henchmen :demonic:

both of these joints were nicely mixed, well done

Nice battle. @producingfire that beat was pure HIP HOP. @Tommy Knocks, you still super creative with your drum work breh. Gave it to producingfire, love the bboy influence you brought to your beat.

shout outs to all those that listened :salute:

@Tommy Knocks you my boy but that beat was pretty terrible..
To each their own.

That beat is from 2005. Truth be told, I couldn't muster up a new one in time for the comp, just reinstalled all my programs only to realize I missed 2-3 vsts, and I'm currently in the U.S away from my external. Then I realized that altho I have a substitute midi controller here at my moms (which is why I didnt bring mine), my dumb ass doesn't have the usb cable for it lol. I was trying to make a beat with the qwerty keyboard that shyt was hard as fukk, so I was like fukk that, I'll just re-up the very first beat off my soundcloud (see page lol) and see what kind of reviews it gets. :dead:

you're more than welcome to check out my newer ones tho.

Voted for Producing Fire on this one. I loved the the soulful sample and the way you chopped it, the drum selection, overall a really dope beat.

Knocks beat was dope too. I was trying to put my finger on the type of beat it reminded me off and I wasnt even thinking of early Neptunes stuff. That's def it. I could hear Mase or Nelly on it from that era.

Good work.
