Don't give her any weed unless her and her doctor agrees to it. Its not uncommon for transplant docs to drug screen patients prior to performing surgery and a positive drug screen could put your mom out of cotention for a transplant. Be sure her doctor is aware of the potential of weed being in her system before moving forward or they may refuse your mom surgery.
