Pretty good first show, not a home run but a good show. The energy from the crowd and presentation of the show was great. The first match and the Moxley/Omega segment were the highlights. The show did a good job of feeling fast-paced, "like an action movie" as some guy from AEW said it would be. It does and thats its biggest strength. Raws feel like they go on and on, this felt like it was moving fast most of the time.

There was too many run ins for the first show I think, and one interruption of a post-match interview was enough. The womens match wasntgood.

Still a good start, I'll watch next week.

Great debut for AEW, I enjoyed the whole show except the intergender match

Swagger is a very underwhelming choice for a reveal/surprise. Mox planting Kenny head first on a glass table felt more important and worthy of ending the show, imo.

Having said that, it was a successful first show. They established Guevara, Riho and Swagger and started to promote the tag tournament, which will carry the show in the coming months.

Did this show make me change and my mind and be interested enough to keep watching? Not really, but as I've said before, I'm not this show's audience. Unless MJF is on, I'm on anything they do right now.

Solid show, overall good to great wrestling. They only did a little silly skit with Kevin Smith, but that's acceptable.
