But in fairness, it was because AJ worked his.ass off in that match, and it was booked with all the ridiculousness of a mid 90s main event. The ref was status for what felt like forever.

That says more about the rest of the card. 6 minute match between Brock and Goldberg. Wyatt vs Randy for the title, KO and Jericho opening the show I think, the Triple H vs Rollins match that should have happened months earlier at the survivor series, and the show closing with the mess that was the Roman vs Undertaker match. The rest of that card was awful.
